Maybe Motherhood was created because the experiences of fertility, pregnancy, and parenthood touch something foundational in the psyche of women — a place where identity, longing, fear, hope, and self-worth can become deeply intertwined. These seasons can shake the parts of us we thought were steady, and reveal emotional layers we never expected to confront. Women deserve support in these chapters not because they are fragile, but because these transitions are profound, complex, and often misunderstood.

Founded by Katie Brett— a PMH-C certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and former IVF nurse who supports women through the emotional terrain of fertility treatments, pregnancy and postpartum — this space offers the kind of grounded, compassionate support so often missing in traditional care and online spaces.

Here, you’ll find mental health guidance, honest storytelling, and a community that prioritizes emotional wellbeing over perfection, comparison, and toxic positivity.
